With the support of Basisbank, the University of Georgia hosted the finals of the national STEM competition among students, the purpose of which was to promote the development of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Members of the first three winning teams of the national STEM competition and their leaders, assisted by Basisbank, were awarded a trip to Geneva and a visit to CERN, one of the world’s largest European nuclear research organizations.
The winners of the competition had the opportunity to visit the laboratories of the CERN Museum and the sights of the city of Geneva.
